From a sometimes-watcher, the rules changes sound good to me. Should make the game more exciting.

shoot-outs are exciting I've always found. I love watching breakaways

to me, the changes like an attempt to helklp out washed-up fucks who haven't done shit for a year and a half... but for all I know.... Im a douche.

I',m pretty sure the shoot out will be after one extra period and it won't be use in the playoffs
The pad used to be 10 inches so it's not a bad idea to bring it back to that.
The bigger zone won't change the game that much
Stop complaining, we'll have a season, a lot of teams will drop there ticket prices, GM won't be able to give to a player more than 21% of the team salary cap so the salary will be controlled, the top 10 rich team will have to share with the bottom ten and Sydney Crosby is entering the league.
I see this as a very promising season.

And by the way, I'm damn happy
Mu Pens won the draft and Sidney Crosby will become a PEns soon

It's certainly not us Canadians complaning about the pace of the game... or the overtime... or the ties... hell, we don't even need little red and blue lines on the TV to see where the puck is...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Fuck'em... they can watch basketball where the scores are rediculously near the 100 mark... why do people have a problem with games that are a challenge?Originally posted by Andyman:
Like soccer, many people don't watch hockey because it's a low scoring game.
yeah I don't see how a 100-98 game is a better game than a 3-1 game.
